Samsung Galaxy Unpacked – dates and what is it?

Samsung regularly hosts special Galaxy Unpacked events.

They’re exclusive press events where Samsung announces its own products.

Usually Galaxy Unpacked events are reserved for top-tier mobile devices – like phones and tablets.

The next Galaxy Unpacked event is taking place on April 28.

It’ll kick off at 10am New York time – that’s 7am in LA and 3pm in London.

As always, the Galaxy Unpacked event will be live-streamed to the world for free.

You’ll be able to watch the stream on Samsung’s official YouTube channel.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked news – what to expect

Samsung hasn’t confirmed exactly what will be on show.

However, it has offered up a simple teaser: “The most powerful Galaxy.”

Samsung’s Galaxy brand covers a broad range of devices, including phones, tablets, laptops and headphones.

We’re expecting something very high-end, given the teaser.

So we’d expect to see a new Galaxy Book laptop, given its potential for performance.

If Samsung does launch a phone, it’s more likely to be the Galaxy Z Fold 3 – a foldable smartphone with bleeding-edge specs.

We could also see a laptop-tablet hybrid, or some other surprise device.

In other news, The Sun’s favourite alternative to a games console is the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.

Check out the wildly impressive Panasonic 65HZ1000 TV, which makes most tellies look rubbish.

And Dell’s Alienware R10 Ryzen Edition is a gaming PC powerhouse that crushes both the new consoles.
