The Wanted star Tom Parker was back in hospital to have a Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan amid his brain tumour battle, having shown signs of ‘improvement’.

Following gruelling chemotherapy, Tom’s tumour showed a ‘significant reduction’ in size and he is determined to keep fighting it.

Checking in with his fans on Thursday, the singer shared that he was back in hospital as his treatment continues.

The 32-year-old, who had his first coronavirus vaccine dose in January, posted a selfie on his Instagram Stories of himself heading to his scan wearing a face mask over his nose and mouth.

He add much except the words ‘Mri time’ at the top of his photo.

An MRI scan uses radio waves to produce detailed images of inside of the body and can be used to examine also any part including the brain, bones and internal organise.

The singer had been diagnosed with an inoperable tumour on his brain last year, just before his baby son Bodhi was due to be born.

His wife Kelsey is looking ahead to the future and recently revealed that she wants to have more children as Tom’s tumour shows improvement.

Speaking on Loose Women she shared that she would love to have two more children after Bodhi and daughter Aurelia.

Kelsey spoke about her experiences during Tom’s health battle as she saw how much weight her husband lost.

‘It was more the frustration and that’s what made me upset and I found it really hard to remain positive then,’ the mum-of-two said.

‘But now after we had this good news as well it’s like you know we’re on this roller coaster. We’re going forward and we’ve just got to remain as positive as we possibly can.’
