Trump says world is ‘laughing at US’ over Biden’s ‘politically correct’ military after reversing his transgender ban

THE 45TH president took his successor, President Biden, to task for turning American forces into a “politically correct” arm of the government and undoing some of his “miracles.”

Former President Donald Trump chided President Joe Biden in a lengthy interview on his former strategist Sebastian Gorka’s podcast, America First.

“I think they’re laughing at us like they have never laughed before,” Trump said, implying other superpowers and nations.

“Our political…and you could say this, ‘politically correct’ armed forces where they’re sending out documents talking about all sorts of things that shouldn’t be discussed, that shouldn’t even be thought about.”

Gorka stewed on this topic, laying into the current Biden administration for lowering morale in the Army ranks, referencing a recent visit he paid to Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

Trump appeared to have private conversations with a general that wasn’t sure what level of strictness was acceptable in today’s climate.

“And they weren’t sure how to answer the question,” he said. “Do you understand this? This is just crazy what’s going on.”

The current president has made sweeping changes in defense only months into his administration.

He’s promoted women generals and he just nominated the first woman, Christine Wormuth, to serve as secretary of the Army.

Biden also nixed Trump’s 2017 ban on transgenders being able to serve their country and wear the uniform.

And just this week, Biden announced a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021, marking the 20th anniversary of the attacks on the homeland.

Trump claims that the country under Biden’s leadership is forsaking soldiers’ needs and retreating from modern advances like creating the Space Force and equipping the military with modernized equipment and resources.

“The job I did, and the job we all did on the military – we rebuilt the military,” Trump said. “Some people called it a miracle, they called it the greatest miracle, the fact that I got the vaccine. Actually, all sides admit that.

“But they called the military, the rebuilding of the military, somewhat of a miracle. And we have a Space Force, all the things we’ve done. But when you see what’s going on now, it’s a very sad thing to watch, actually.”
