We set up a fashion business in our garden shed, the 16-hour days are worth it as it’s now worth £3m
TWO sisters who set up their own fashion brand in their garden shed have revealed how they turned over £3million last year.
Alice, 25, and Maisie Jones, 22, started Sisters & Seekers from their family home in Hope, Flintshire in 2017.

At the time, Alice was a junior design engineer and university student, while Maisie was finishing sixth form.
They created their ‘athleisure’ style clothing aimed at 18–30 years old using £2,000 of their savings.
At first, they sold vintage items on eBay and Depop, but they now get their own clothes produced in the UK and use local suppliers for embellishing and embroidery.
The siblings have gone from being a powerhouse team-of-two, to having a team of 15, and are going from strength to strength.

Alice and Maisie were delighted when Topshop decided to stock Sisters & Seekers products in select stores.
They also hit their whopping £100,000 daily sales target by 1am on Black Friday last year.

According to North Wales Live, they said: “We lived and breathed the business 24/7.
“Up until the end of year two, we were consistently working at least 16-hour days to make sure we were perfecting all areas as best as we could, especially as we didn’t start to take any staff on until after our first birthday, so workload was heavy.
“The team we have now built work tirelessly and are as passionate about the brand and seeing it succeed as we are, and we truly couldn’t ask for anything better than that.”
