Jake Paul is one biggest of the boxing stars today and is also one of the best trash talkers around in combat sports. ‘The Problem Child’ never likes to spare his opponents/rivals, and whenever he gets an opportunity, he always fires back with exuberant verbal shots. Whilst most of it has been successful, there were a few moments when the YouTuber turned boxer absolutely embarrassed himself with his trash talk.

1) Called Canelo Alvarez out

After his last fight with Avni Yildirim, Canelo Alvarez lashed out at a couple of Paul fans who were ringside for that fight. As a result, the 24-year-old seemed livid with Canelo’s actions. Hence, he took it to his official Instagram handle to fire back at the pound-for-pound king of boxing.

He accused Canelo of using steroids and even asked him to fight genuine contenders of his division. Consequently, there was huge criticism Paul had to face for his comments on the boxing bigwig.

2) Insulted Conor McGregor and his wife

After a win over Nate Robinson, Paul got desperate to fight the former UFC double champ, Conor McGregor.

Hence, he posted a video on his YouTube handle wherein he insulted the Irishman and his wife. He even called McGregor out for a $50 million bout, but the latter didn’t seem ecstatic to follow up on the same and Paul ended up embarrassing himself.

3) Got owned by Ben Askren in a press conference

The Ohio native will touch gloves with Ben Askren this weekend. However, a few days back the pair was involved in a press conference, and many expected the young gun to land sublime verbal hits on his foe. Instead, the MMA veteran totally owned Paul in this banter.

4) Ben Askren insulted him and his brother Logan Paul

In this press conference, a reporter asked ‘Funky’ about his next opponent after Jake Paul. Askren responded, “Yeah, I mean 2021 seems like a tremendous year to beat up the whole Paul family.”

After this statement, even ‘The Problem Child’ admitted that it was a good response from the former UFC welterweight.

5) Got a fiery response from Gigi Hadid over a feud with Zayn Malik

Paul met Zayn Malik at an event in 2020, wherein he asserted the latter asked him to “f**k off”. He even tweeted about the same saying, “Almost had to clap up zane from 1 direction because he is a little guy and has an attitude and basically told me to f**k off for no reason when I was being nice to him….Zane ik you’re reading this… stop being angry cause u came home alone to ur big a** hotel room hahaha.” 

Malik’s girlfriend later took the matter into her own hands and responded to Paul. She tweeted, “Lol cause he doesn’t care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies..? Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie. Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly a**. Go to bed….”

Later, ‘The Problem Child’ deleted this tweet and apologized for the same.
