Brie Larson teaches Tessa Thompson how to play Fortnite and it’s everything
Fortnite and Marvel fans got the crossover of dreams this week when Captain American star Brie Larson taught Tessa Thompson how to play the hit game.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe stars jumped online to play the game in an attempt to win a Battle Royale, and Brie, 31, even rocked a Captain Marvel skin in homage to her character.
The virtual tag team was the first time Tessa – who famously plays Valkyrie in the MCU – has ever played the game so it was only right they documented her journey on Brie’s YouTube channel.
Brie captioned the video: ‘Tessa’s first Victory Royale! Sending all my love to Tessa Thompson for taking over my Fortnite and helping me win.
‘And hoping this little “How To” gained me a new gaming friend? We tamed wolves, had a few “snacks” and got to explore this season’s new map together.’
The pair covered everything from building houses and shooting arrows to taming wolves in their session.
Brie, who has a partnership with Epic Games, ended up doing most of the playing but Tessa was happy to witness her pals win.
As a longtime video game fan, Brie just released her own Fortnite Locker and the bundle is available in the Item Shop.
For those who are interested, it contains a special version of the bushranger skin, a harvesting tool and more.
Meanwhile, it’s been rumoured that Brie has joined the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder – which is due to be released next February.
The fourth flick in the Thor saga has an all-star line-up joining Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, including Tessa, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, and Taika Waititi.
