Is Trevor Lawrence the Greatest College Quarterback of All Time?
When it comes to American football, there’s no greater position than a quarterback. In Trevor Lawrence, the NFL is all set to welcome arguably one of the most ‘winningest’ college quarterbacks of all time.
His stats and numbers have been flawless since his high school days. He set multiple records while playing for the Clemson Tigers while also winning the CFP National Championship in 2018. Lawrence is a 3-time ACC Champion with 10,000+ passing yards and 90+ passing touchdowns.
Trevor Lawrence is reportedly coach Urban Meyer’s preferred choice as the 1st overall pick at the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft. But before that happens let’s take a look at his high school and NCAA career.

Trevor Lawrence bursts onto the scene after high school heroics
Knoxville-born Trevor Lawrence rose to prominence while playing football at Cartersville High School. During his Junior Year in 2016, Lawrence was adjudged The Atlanta Journal-Constitution POTY. He completed 250 of 406 passes for 3,904 yards and 51 touchdowns.
The following year he led the Purple Hurricanes 41 straight victories. The Georgia-based high school won two state championships and four region titles. He further received numerous national high school player of the year honors for his displays in 2017. He also broke the Georgia passing yards and passing touchdowns record which was previously held by Deshaun Watson (who also played for Clemson).
