Line Of Duty may be one of the most intense shows on TV right now, but behind-the-scenes it’s all fun and games – particularly between Vicky McClure and Martin Compston

The playful duo, who star as DI Kate Fleming and DI Steve Arnott in the BBC drama, have taken to pranking each other to let off some steam.

But the latest one, according to Martin at least, seems to hold a clue about how we’re going to react to Sunday’s episode.

In the clip, Vicky is seen creeping up on Martin to try and scare him – only to be left disappointed when he didn’t even flinch.

But when he did the same… she screamed the house down.

‘Unflappable when in Arnott mode [Vicky McClure] still screaming I’m sure,’ Martin wrote in victory against his castmate.

‘Have a good weekend troops! Line of Duty 6 Episode 5 Sunday 9pm.

‘Can see a few McClure reactions to the ending.’

Well… that’s slightly terrifying seeing as the entire nation has been gripped so far!

Martin has already hinted that the latest instalment is going to be filled with suspense, telling fans that they’ll ‘need therapy’ after episode five.

And according to the BBC’s official descriptions for the upcoming episodes, he has every reason to warn fans of what’s to come.

In the summary for episode five, it states that AC-12 are left ‘in a potentially dangerous situation’ after ‘Hastings’ authority is undermined’.

Episode six’s synopsis is even worse, as it states that AC-12 are struggling ‘to deal with the repercussions of tragic events’.

Will everyone survive?

Line Of Duty continues Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.
