We’re not sure what to focus on – hench Justin Theroux or his adorable dog Kuma
Justin Theroux opened up on life, including his friendship with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, this week in a profile with Esquire.
However, despite the gossip-y insight into his lasting friendship with his ex, it seems fans are all drawn to the front cover of the magazine, which sports a topless (and very hench) Justin cuddling up to his dog Kuma.
You see, fans are incredibly divided over where their eyes need to concentrate – is it on the smouldering Tropic Thunder star, or on the most adorable rescue dog who’s taken pride of place on the actor’s Instagram?
Justin adopted the pitbull mix in 2018 and has showered the glorious pup with love, even enjoying a slap-up Thanksgiving dinner last year as they both got to know each other a little more formally in lockdown.
And now Kuma is a cover star, as she joined her human for his photoshoot and took pride of place in the finished product, as she gazed down the lens as Justin held her and smiled and glowed and sorry, have you been working out, Justin?
Fans shared their thirsty messages for both Justin and Kuma on social media, with one very accurately noting: ‘There’s a hunk on the cover of this month’s @esquire. And also Justin Theroux.’
SPCA of Texas wrote: ‘Ok to be clear we 100% just skimmed the article but we would like to unofficially endorse the latest Esquire cover featuring our celebrity dog crush Kuma & her hooman.’
Everyone was fawning over the cover, as another punter wrote on Twitter: ‘My mom does not specifically care about Justin Theroux but she’s a huge Kuma the dog fan. She said she’s going to buy the magazine today. (sic)’
While another simply gave us some life advice, writing: ‘This could be you if you adopt a dog & work out a lot,’ as the thirst was real for one who chimed in: ‘Ughhh waking up to this issue of Esquire featuring Justin Theroux — undeniably hot but also underrated!!’
And a whole heap of people thought it was Justin Trudeau.
That is a really handsome dog. I love that dog.
Don’t know who that guy is.
Next time, just the dog, please.

I couldn’t care less about what’s his face, but I want to give that dog so many pets.

In the personal chat with the magazine, Justin opened up on his split with Jennifer and insisted that the former couple are still pals and often talk on the phone or on FaceTime.
He added that he would feel a ‘loss’ if the Friends star was no longer in his life, following their 2018 breakup after two years of marriage.
Setting the record straight he said their split was not ‘dramatic’: ‘I would say we’ve remained friends. We don’t talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text.
‘Like it or not, we didn’t have that dramatic split, and we love each other.
‘I’m sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship…It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally. And I’d like to think the same for her.’
The stars said their decision to split was ‘mutual’ and ‘lovingly made’, adding that they had decided to go public with the news ‘to reduce any further speculation’.
