YouTuber Jeffree Star and best friend Daniel Lucas are in hospital after being injured in a ‘severe car crash’.

The beauty mogul’s camp confirmed the news on Twitter as they shared a picture of the 35-year-old in his hospital bed.

The tweet read: ‘A few hours ago Jeffree and Daniel were in a severe car accident and the car flipped 3 times after hitting black ice.

‘We will update you all when the doctor gives us more info. So thankful they are both alive.’

In the image, Jeffree could be seen wearing a neck brace while lying in the hospital bed. Daniel sat beside him as the pair held hands.

According to K2radio, the content creator crashed near Casper, Wyoming and is being treated at Wyoming Medical Center.

A source told the site that the star crashed his brand new Rolls Royce while driving in the area.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant Jeremy Beck confirmed to Oil City News that Jeffree was involved in the rollover crash on Natrona County’s Hat Six Road.

Friends and fans immediately tweeted their well wishes for the pair as one wrote: ‘So terrible. Wishing for a strong and fast recovery.’

‘Praying for quick healing and so grateful that y’all are going to be ok! Black ice is no BS! Sending hugs and love,’ another commented.

One follower commented: ‘oh my gosh, sending you both so much love!’

Jeffree is one of the most famous YouTubers in the world, with a fortune said to be worth around $200 million (£147 million). 

He currently has close to 17 million subscribers to his YouTube channel and is also the founder of make-up company, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, which launched in 2014.
