Ashley Cain’s daughter Azaylia ‘really struggling’ and unable to open her eyes in fight against leukaemia
Ashley Cain and girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee’s daughter Azaylia Diamond is ‘really, really struggling’ after being given just days to live by doctors.
Ex On The Beach star Ashley, 30, has been documenting his eight-month-old baby girl’s struggles on social media after she was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia.
Azaylia was recently discharged from hospital in a bid to give her the best final days possible at home, but her mother Safiyya shared how unwell she was on Friday in an Instagram story.
She said: ‘Azaylia’s got really, really swollen eyes today, and we’ve been told by our community nurses to put some cold compresses on them… so she can open her eyes.
‘She’s really, really struggling today.’
The sad news comes after Azaylia ate her first solid food in weeks, with Safiyya sharing the moment online with her followers.
She said: ‘We have Azaylia’s lovely grandma here and she has just made some dinner for me and look who’s eating her greens?
‘Grandma made Azaylia her greens. Your grandma is the best, isn’t she? Yes, she is.’
Sharing a video of her baby sleeping later, Safiyya added: ‘Azaylia, what have you done – you’ve got broccoli in your eyes, in your nose, round your mouth.
‘You’ve got pasta sauce over your Babygro, but look what you’ve kept hold of – your green bean.’

In the caption, she wrote: ‘She has just had so much fun with my dinner and it’s the first time she’s eaten in about two weeks. She amazes me.’
Ashley and Safiyya have been looking after their child at home but they have had to make regular trips back to the hospital for platelet transfusions after Azaylia suffered bleeding from her nose and even in her tears as her blood stopped clotting normally due to the leukaeumia.
The Challenge star Ashley recently raised £1.5million for Azaylia after sharing a GoFundMe page set up by Safiyya so they could get their daughter to Singapore for specialist treatment.
The couple said they would need to spend a year in Singapore and were unable to cover the costs on their own.
They said they would donate any excess money to people going through similar experiences but the trip and treatment became impossible after her conditioned worsened and more tumours were found.
