Call of Duty Warzone Season 3: ‘Pay to Win’ Roze Skin Finally Gets a Nerf
Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War is right around the corner. The ongoing Season 2 has been a massive hit among the fans, and the developers are certainly keen to continue the momentum.
One of the biggest bones of contention in Call of Duty Warzone lately has been the Roze operator skin. Apparently, the outfit that’s completely coated in black has been giving an unfair advantage to the owners. Camping in dark places has become a common strategy leading to frustration amidst hundreds of thousands of players.
From the looks of it, this narrative will change with Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone. Raven Software has confirmed certain changes that are coming to the game, which fortunately includes amendments in the Roze skin.
Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has a good feeling about Call of Duty Warzone Season 3
Prominent streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop is one of the most popular Call of Duty Warzone streamers out there. Naturally, he leaves no opportunity to advise the developers, and always puts efforts into making the Battle Royale title better.

CouRage had recently called out Infinity Ward and Raven Software for not removing/amending the Roze skin in Warzone. Despite constant complaints by the community, the developers failed to bring the desired changes.
Moreover, CouRage shared a list of changes that he wants to witness in Warzone. Alongside the removal of Roze skin, it comprised a plethora of things like a functioning streamer mode and reduction in Dead Silence.
@CallofDuty @RavenSoftware Hey! Just wanted to send over changes that I think would add a better quality of life to the game:
-Functioning streamer mode
-Removal/refund of the Roze skin
-Less Dead Silence and Stopping Power
-Make Bounties drop consolation loot when unavailable— Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) April 16, 2021
Raven Software appreciated the streamer’s valuable feedback:
Hey CouRage!
Thanks for sharing this list.
We want to reassure you, and the rest of the community, that we’re constantly on the lookout for ways to improve the game.
Stand by for specifics…

In another tweet, Raven Software confirmed an adjustment to Roze and some other meta changes:
There are a lot of changes coming soon that we think you’ll be happy to see:
• An adjustment to Roze
• A significant balance pass to weapons such as the Tac Rifle Charlie, M16, FFAR 1, and Sykov
• Fix for MW weapon perks + sniper glint
• Change to how you acquire the RC-XD— Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) April 16, 2021
Weapons such as the Tactical Rifle Charlie, M16, and FFAR 1, had heavily dominated the meta in Season 2. Accordingly, these weapons will now receive certain amends to balance things out.
The list of changes also contains a fix for Modern Warfare’s weapon perks and sniper glint. Lastly, the way of acquiring the RC-XD will finally be different.
It comes as no surprise that Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop is happy with the recent announcements made by Raven Software.
Holy shit.
They’re actually nerfing the Roze skin.
We’ve done it.

Several other streamers like Asmongold and former Call of Duty pro TeeP also seem satisfied with the upcoming changes in the Roze skin:
Is that the bullshit all black gimp suit?
If so, thank god.

All in all, it is safe to assume that Season 3 will be a huge landmark in Call of Duty Warzone’s history. It will most probably bring a nuke event that destroys Verdansk, and will introduce a new Battle Royale map for players around the world.
