Ryan Garcia Stuns With His Prediction for Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren
The upcoming collision between former UFC star Ben Askren and newly turned professional boxer Jake Paul seems to have split the combat world into two halves. Both men have gathered viable believers on board and are ready to step up against each other on April 17.
While several professional fighters have backed Ben Askren to stage a successful boxing debut, WBC Interim 135 1bs champion Ryan Garcia has favored Jake Paul to win the fight. He didn’t write off Askren’s chances and envisioned him going to the distance with ‘The Problem Child’.
‘King Ry’ also pictured a tough fight for Jake Paul, as he will face a professional fighter for the first time in his career. Nevertheless, he previewed a Knockout coming from Jake Paul in the later rounds of the fight.
Speaking with Overtime, the 22-year said, “Jake Paul has been taking boxing pretty seriously for last three years. He is going in with the mindset and that he wants to win, he is training his butt off and Ben (Askren), I see man he is a good guy, very honest guy. He has fight experience, he was on my podcast- Fierce Talks.”
Ryan Garcia added, “Jake Paul vs Ben Askren, I see this fight almost to the distance. I believe Jake Paul is going to knock him out. It will be in one of the last few rounds. But this is going to be not such an easy fight for Jake.”

Jake Paul vs Ben Askren- More depth to the fight
A few months back, no one envisioned seeing a fight between them. However, Ben Askren seemingly couldn’t refuse the lucrative offer. Now, the eight rounds cruiserweight main event is official after both fighters successfully made weight, and ‘Funky’ will get his fight purse without any deductions.
According to reports, he will be paid $500,000 from the fight, excluding the PPV cuts. So, Askren’s total income from the fight is expected to be around a million. However, a win will be priceless.
