“You Are Hired” – Vince McMahon Sends a Special Message to Pat McAfee Ahead of Friday Night SmackDown

Vince McMahon is a man of power. He makes powerful moves, and recently, he made a huge revelation by sending a message to Pat McAfee.

Lately, Pat McAfee was trending on Twitter because everyone realized he was up to something. Nobody knew what it was, but his actions had everyone’s attention.

Therefore, prior to Friday Night SmackDown, Vince McMahon sent a video message to McAfee letting him know he’s hired for Friday Night SmackDown. He will sit at the commentators’ table alongside Michael Cole as the new analyst for the show.

Pat McAfee took the time to thank Vince McMahon with a personalized message, which he released on Twitter as well.

“An open mic, LIVE, in front of millions… AND MILLIONS.. of people every Friday. I’m beyond pumped and grateful. Big thanks to Vince McMahon for the decades of entertainment, the opportunity, AND.. agreeing to appear in this video announcement. Let’s do the d*mn thing….. BAYBAY.”

With all the changes WWE has been undergoing, especially the release of several major Superstars, this has been rather pleasant news.

While Vince McMahon hired Pat McAfee, some Superstars have suffered a different fate.

Shocking release of Superstars

WWE released several Superstars such as Mickie James, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Samoa Joe, and others from their contracts.

Nobody predicted this, and the news took over the wrestling industry like a storm. Even though several of them were not being used at the current moment, the release of Mickie James and Billie Kay has been more upsetting.

Both of them had appeared on TV, and the WWE Universe assumed WWE would put them in further storylines. Especially for Billie Kay.

She cut a promo with Superstars such as Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, and others before the Tag Team Turmoil match prior to WrestleMania 37.

She claimed Carmella was going through her resume while she was cutting the promo.

After this, nobody expected the company to release Billie Kay from her contract.

Not all of them have responded to their release. In fact, their response will let the fans know what is next for them. However, there’s a possibility that AEW will target the released Superstars and give them contracts that will help in pushing them forward and letting them continue their pro-wrestling careers.
