Dani Dyer confesses to ‘crying over clothes’ as she struggles with her body after giving birth
Dani Dyer has got real about her struggles with how she looks after she gave birth to her first child.
The Love Island star and her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence welcomed their son Santiago in January this year and has been sharing loads of adorable pictures of their boy.
As well as hitting back at ‘mum shamers’ online who have been sending her unsolicited DMs, she has been open with fans on social media about the challenges of motherhood.
The new mum, 24, confessed she sometimes found it ‘hard’ to be comfortable with her body since having her first child, which led to an emotional meltdown as she tried to get ready to go out.
On Instagram Dani, the daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer, posted a glam photo of her outfit before she headed off to enjoy the sunshine.
The TV star wore her long blonde hair in tousled curls and had on a full face of makeup which she admitted took a while to put together.
She wrote: ‘4 thousand tantrums later of nothing fitting me I’m finally ready…
‘Some days I love my post partum body other days it really is hard I’m not going to lie.
‘I turned into a teenager crying over clothes today…’
Dani later posted pics of herself enjoying a drink in a beer garden, joking: ‘Mumma is out.’
Santiago’s birth didn’t go as she and Sammy had expected and the reality TV star ‘felt like a failure’ when she had to have an unplanned C-section.
On her and dad Danny’s podcast Sorted With The Dyers, Dani joked that her son ‘didn’t fancy coming out’.
‘You wanna do everything right,’ she said.
‘Obviously I had to have a caesarean in the end and I was crying about that, because I never planned that, I never wanted a C-section.
‘I know they’re very common and I know they happen but I never wanted that, it was never in my birth plan. So I started feeling like a failure, it’s ridiculous.
‘So the baby didn’t want to come out basically, he didn’t fancy it.’
