Justin Bieber is said to be making an appearance in the upcoming Friends reunion on HBO Max.

The one off-episode will see the return of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry for the first time since the sitcom wrapped in 2004, finished filming last week.

According to reports, Yummy singer Justin filmed scenes wearing Ross Geller’s notorious Spudnik potato costume from the season eight episode The One With The Halloween Party.

‘Justin was honoured to be involved and didn’t mind sending himself up wearing a ridiculous costume,’ a source said.

The insider continued to The Sun: ‘It was all run like a military operation to keep details under wraps, and Justin nailed it.’

Justin is believed to be a huge fan of Friends and last year, he pranked tourists by going undercover on the set for an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The publication also claims the reunion will feature a recreation of Joey wearing all of Chandler’s clothes.

Although the reunion episode is unscripted and that the cast will not necessarily be in character, Schwimmer recently revealed on The Graham Norton Show: ‘There is one section of it that I don’t want to give away, but we all read something.’

The special has been forced back a number of times in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Originally, it was slated to launch in the US on HBO Max in summer 2020.

The special will mark the first time all six cast mates have appeared on screen together since Rachel got off the plane and Monica and Chandler moved to Westchester County 17 years ago.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Justin’s rep and HBO for comment.
