“I Told Y’all I’m a Real Fighter”- Jake Paul Reacts to His Win Over Ben Askren

The Jake Paul vs Ben Askren fight merely began, and the former ended it in a flash to go 3-0  as a professional boxer. The highly anticipated eight-round matchup didn’t even enter the second round as Jake Paul dropped Ben Askren to the canvas. Although ‘Funky’ regained his vertical base, the referee waved off the contest.

So, Jake Paul has attained all his professional wins via first-round KOs and has a victory over a former MMA champion now. Coming into the fight, he had predicted to stop, Askren, within three rounds. Well, three rounds would have been way too long as Askren suffered the horrific knockdown within a few minutes.

Jake Paul appeared delighted with his performance as he billed himself as a real fighter in the post-fight segment. 24-year-old Paul has made similar claims in the past. But his win over a former UFC fighter might have just validated it.

“This is the craziest moment of my life. I told y’all I was gonna do it in the first round, I told y’all I’m a real fighter. I don’t know how many times I gotta prove myself that this is for real,” said ‘The Problem Child’ (H/T- MMA Fighting).

Nevertheless, it was not even a lopsided show as Jake Paul didn’t have to break a sweat in adding another KO in his resume.

Meanwhile, 36-year-old Ben Askren might fall into the clutch of criticisms, He has suffered three losses back to back in a professional fight.
