Sharon Osbourne has revealed she ‘plans on writing a book’ to tell ‘her version’ of the story after leaving The Talk.

The 68-year-old left the talk show after clashing with co-host Sheryl Underwood over the comments that Piers Morgan made about Meghan Markle, following her and Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In uncomfortable scenes, Osbourne told Sheryl to ‘educate me’ on racism and said: ‘I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist? What does it gotta do with me?’

Speaking to You magazine, Sharon said that now her plans are to write a book.

‘I’m going to write a book. I’m going to tell everything. They didn’t gag me. I would never sign a gagging order, so I can do what I want,’ she said.

Speaking about the nature of her exit from the show, she added: ‘I do not want my legacy to be, ”Well, she was a racist.” I mean, it’s insane. It’s just not true.

‘I haven’t done anything wrong. All I’m talking about is freedom of speech. You say one word wrong in this cancel culture and you’re cancelled, fired, off.’

Sharon went on to say: ‘I get it. You want change in your country. But don’t start on a 68-year-old from England who likes the Queen. I’m the wrong one.’

Sharon also recently sat down with Bill Maher, saying she ‘will not take being called a racist’.

‘I’ve been called so many things in my life. I am so used to being called names but a racist is one I will not take,’ she said.
