The Formula One circus is in Italy for the upcoming race weekend. Ferrari fans took to the streets and welcome their number 16 driver Charles Leclerc and cheer him for the upcoming race.

According to belief, the fans of the Scuderia are the most loyal fans in F1. However, they might be absent from the track due to Covid-19 restrictions but that won’t put a halt as they cheer on their driver hailing from Monaco.

Leclerc is well aware of the pace of the McLaren

The Monégasque driver set fourth fastest on the grid for Sunday’s race. But he is keeping an eye on the McLaren’s as he is well aware of their speed.

In the post-qualifying interview, Leclerc said, “I think it’s going to be a difficult race. We are lacking a little bit of straight-line speed, especially compared to the McLaren. So we’ll have to wait and see and hopefully we’ll have a good enough pace to go away [from the McLarens]. If not, it’s going to be difficult to keep them behind.”

“It’s an amazing track. I love it because you cannot do any mistakes like I showed in FP2 taking the wall! But these things can happen tomorrow because we’ll all be pushing a lot.”

“There’s not much tyre management which is something that we like as drivers because we can push throughout the race, so it should be an exciting race tomorrow,” He concluded.

The Maranello-based squad will be hoping that both Sainz and Leclerc can make the most out of the car and achieve a good win for the team at their home Grand Prix. Where do you think Ferrari will finish in the race? Let us know in the comments below.
