Bubba Wallace Has an Interesting Suggestion for NASCAR and F1 After F1 Announces Miami GP in 2022
Earlier on Sunday, Formula One announced a second race of the season in the United States, starting 2022. The famous Hard Rock Stadium Complex will host the F1 Miami Grand Prix next year, joining COTA as the other venue in the US. Upon hearing the news, Bubba Wallace has an interesting suggestion.
Wallace and his NASCAR competitors are no strangers to racing in Miami. The Homestead-Miami Speedway hosts NASCAR races every year and was also the ‘Championship 4’ venue before Phoenix Raceway took over.
So, to make things interesting, Wallace wants to see both major motorsports events happen on the same day in Miami. Of course, they would both take place at different venues as already decided, but Wallace’s suggestion will make Miami the ‘place to be’ in the world for sports fans.

While there is no clarity yet on the dates for the F1 race, F1 president Stefano Domenicali said he expects it to happen in the second quarter of the new year.
Bubba Wallace is a big fan of F1 and Lewis Hamilton
An excited Wallace even reacted on his Instagram page, as soon as F1 announced the news.
The 23XI Racing driver is known to be a big F1 fan and closely follows the races. Wallace and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton have interacted with each other on numerous occasions in the past.
The Mercedes superstar showed his support for Wallace during the controversies of last year and even congratulated his NASCAR counterpart after Michael Jordan signed him for 23XI Racing. Wallace usually reacts to Hamilton’s races and wins in F1.
Wallace’s tough start continues in NASCAR season
The NASCAR driver has gotten off to a tough start in his first season with Jordan’s team. Wallace is making progress consistently, however, the results haven’t quite gone his way.
He remains upbeat about his progress and recently expressed that Jordan himself constantly motivates him after his strong runs in the no. 23 car.
In the latest race, at Richmond Raceway on Sunday, Wallace finished in 26th place. He couldn’t compete with the frontrunners all day, including his team’s co-owner, Denny Hamlin.
Wallace now turns his attention to next weekend’s race at Talladega. Some NASCAR and F1 fans, meanwhile, will wonder about Wallace’s interesting suggestion for next year’s double-header.
