Conor McGregor Calls Nate Diaz a ‘Leftover Salsa’ as a Response to Recent Comments
UFC lightweight star Conor McGregor took to social media and responded to Nate Diaz after Diaz made certain disparaging claims. Stockton’s second son, Nate Diaz seems rather motivated to reignite his rivalry with McGregor and went after Irishman. Diaz trolled McGregor for his submission loss in their fight while accusing the use of steroids in the contest.
Nate Diaz went about his character assassination campaign with the notion that McGregor’s company ‘McGregor Fast’ was into unethical business. ‘The Notorious’ didn’t take too kindly to this claim and immediately spoke out on behalf of his company. Furthermore, he clapped back at Nate Diaz by bringing up his own decision victory in their rematch.
Silly goose, that was pre @McGregorFast.
McGregor FAST was created in the aftermath of that fight.

The feud between Diaz and McGregor seems to be a constant feature, despite both men fighting back in 2016. Despite the lengthy timeline on their rivalry, it seems as though the seeds for a legacy-defining trilogy match-up are in the works. Both men frequently chime in on social media, and the flames of the original rivalry don’t seem to relent.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz: An Overview
‘The Notorious’ is on the verge of fighting Dustin Poirier for a third time in the hope that he’ll win out the rubber match. After being finished in his last fight, everything is on the line for McGregor, including his chances at lightweight gold. Moreover, there’s now bad blood brewing between McGregor and Poirier, thus making for an emphatic showdown.
Nate Diaz also has a marquee match-up lined up against Leon Edwards for UFC 262, which could potentially lead to a title shot. The fight came together out of left field and left Diaz with an opportunity to make a big splash. If he manages to beat ‘Rocky’ Edwards, Nate Diaz will likely find himself fighting the winner of Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal for the welterweight strap.
With a timetable set out, both McGregor and Diaz have their hands full for the foreseeable future. However, a trilogy fight between them is always a viable option that will probably be explored going forward. What’s more, fan interest has once again peaked in a possible match-up given the way they are verbally sparring on Twitter.
