Sharon Osbourne has hit out at Prince Harry and his ‘white privilege’ following her dramatic exit from The Talk.

The 68-year-old sat down with Bill Maher where she discussed her departure from the daytime talk show following a clash with Sheryl Underwood over Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle last month.

Besides insisting that she’s not racist, Sharon blasted Prince Harry and said the Royal family are from a ‘different generation’ in response to the Duchess of Sussex’s claims that they were unsupportive

‘You know when they say white privilege? You know, right there with Harry. Right there. He is the poster boy,’ Sharon said.

‘So you know, he sits there and says “daddy cut him off and he’s not on the wages anymore” and he was boohooing about it.

‘You can’t feel empathy for that because you’re a healthy, bright, educated young man. You can do whatever you want to do. Your life is your own.’

Turning her attention to Meghan, she continued: ‘[The Queen] is from a different generation. They are notoriously non-huggy. I get it, because of her age. She’s from a different generation’

Sharon left the US daytime TV show The Talk following a heated on-air row on March 10.

In uncomfortable scenes, an increasingly emotional Sharon told Sheryl to ‘educate me’ on racism and said: ‘I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist? What does it gotta do with me?’

The Talk returned last week after a month-long hiatus, with an episode exploring the controversy. It featured a heavy focus on diversity and inclusion.

Sheryl, the comedian and actress involved in the confrontation with Osbourne, said she had suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) since the clash.

Sharon, who spent 11 years on The Talk, continued to Bill: ‘I’ve been called so many things in my life. I am so used to being called names but a racist is one I will not take.’

She later added: ‘I’m a fighter, I’m doing just fine.’

Also voicing her concerns about the impact of cancel culture, Sharon said: ‘What about the people that are cut from the knees down and they can’t afford to go get lessons on what’s politically correct and how to talk to people? What happens to them?

‘It’s not fair because it isn’t about being a racist, it’s about maybe not knowing what is correct and woke for your language for that day, because it changes from day to day, what is correct and what isn’t.’
