“The McGregor Fight Just Became More Realistic” Jake Paul Wants Conor McGregor for His 4th Fight

Jake Paul emerged victorious in the third professional boxing match of his career as he stopped ‘Funky’ Ben Askren in the first round. ‘The Problem Child’ caught Askren with a swinging right hand, which landed right on the sweet spot. Askren collapsed right away and took nearly 8 seconds to get back to his feet. Although ‘Funky’ was up, the referee stopped the fight.

Many people on social media felt that the fight was stopped early, as they believed Askren was on his feet and ready to go. However, Jake Paul revealed Askren got lucky with the stoppage as he was ready with another power shot to shut his lights off. Following the win, he directed his attention towards securing his fourth opponent.

In an interview, he said, “Honestly, we will see like the McGregor fight just became more realistic. Like I have been saying, I just wanna do big fights. I am gonna take some time off.”

“I have been working my fu**ing a** off. And I am only gonna do big fights, I wanna challenge myself at the same time. Ben Askren was a step up okay look what happened 1:59 so we will see you at the next big challenges.”

Jake Paul wants to sell 3 to 4 million paper views for his next fight

With a win over a former MMA champion like Ben Askren, ‘The Problem Child‘ will gain confidence by taking on more MMA fighters in the boxing ring. Paul has already taken shots at Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, Michael Bisping, and more. Now, it looks like he is leaning towards the Conor McGregor fight.

McGregor is no stranger to the fight business, as he is one of the most popular fighters in UFC history. Furthermore, he has experience in the boxing ring too.

‘The Notorious’ fought undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather, which resulted in a whopping 4.3 million paper view buys with $600 million in total revenue. ‘The Problem Child’ wants to eclipse that and stated, “I wanna do 3 million 4 million paper view buys so who’s gonna bring in those numbers.”

‘The Notorious’ lasted for ten rounds against the five-division world champion. Hence, he will have a better chance against a 3-0 boxer. This fight looks like a win-win situation for both parties, as both McGregor and Paul have immense drawing power.
