“Very Important Project for Me”: Novak Djokovic Plunges Into New Venture To Support NextGen Tennis

In the past decade, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has been the most dominant player in the men’s game. Due to that, he has bagged a number of endorsement deals with leading companies and organizations. In addition to his endorsements, the Serbian star also likes to help people, especially youngsters, in whichever way possible. 

Recently, Novak Djokovic announced his partnership with Raiffeisen Bank International. He felt honored and was happy with the role the organization would be partaking in. With the help of the organization, Novak will train and groom youngsters to help them become champions on and off the tennis courts.

Speaking on this topic, Djokovic stated, I am very honored to become a brand ambassador for Raiffeisen Bank International and partner with them on a very important project for me – my academy in Belgrade at Novak Tennis Center. They will help me to support young tennis players in their efforts to become champions both on and off the court.”

Novak Djokovic wants to provide youngsters with the best facilities

During his career, Djokovic has enjoyed the benefits of having a strong team. Due to that, he wishes for the next generation to share a similar environment to what he has had. The youngsters training at the Serb’s tennis center will transform their style of play.

Novak said, “Having a strong team along my side has made a huge difference in my career. Therefore, I wish to offer such an environment to the future generation of players in my academy. Raiffeisen is an important partner in this effort and together we will work towards helping tennis grow.”

Djokovic won his 18th Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this year, even though he played the tournament with a muscle tear towards the right side of his abdomen. With this victory, he took himself closer to his arch-rivals Federer and Nadal, who are both at 20 Majors. 

After his stint in Melbourne, the Serb played his next event last week in Monte Carlo. He has added a new tournament to his schedule, the Serbia Open in Belgrade, which begins this week.
