Floyd Mayweather has left his fans scratching their heads after sharing a new photo of himself on Instagram.

The photo which appears to have been taken a fancy showbiz party, features a smiling Floyd sporting a full head of hair and a beard.

In a dark blue checked blazer and white shirt, he stood in the centre of a crowd of fans eagerly taking pictures on their phones.

People are more used to seeing him with a clean shaven look, so the new ‘do came as a surprise.

Floyd himself didn’t offer any comment on the photo, which he shared on social media without a caption.

His friends were loving it, with boxer Andrew Tabiti commented: ‘Your beard looking good champ’ along with a fire emoji as one fan said: ‘My boy sharp.’

Bodyguard Jizzy Mack, real name Ray Sadeghi, simply posted ‘Money’ with a moneybag emoji, while Greg La Rosa, another member of Floyd’s bodyguard crew, added: ‘All business’.

However fans were unused to seeing Floyd with a different look, as one confused person added: ‘BRO I NEVER SEEN THIS DUDE WITH HAIR’.

‘My boi need a haircut’ another person said as another joked that the picture was of his ‘older brother Troy Juneweather’.

‘Im soo shock (sic) i never think Mayweather could grow hair or a full beard’, read a further comment on Instagram as another fan agreed: ‘Man I didn’t know you could grow hair, good for you champ.’

‘Champ need to shave that hair’ one reply read, with another stating: ‘Floyd with hair is something I will never get used to.’

We can all relate to letting our hair do its own thang while we’ve all been at home, and clearly the boxer has followed suit.

The sport star is set to take on YouTube star Logan Paul in the ring, and are currently trying to pin down a new date and location after the match was postponed.
