Kim Kardashian freaks out as she finds out Bridgerton characters were inspired by her
Bridgerton fangirl Kim Kardashian was delighted to discover that some of the characters were inspired by her family – and now she wants to get involved with season two.
Yep, the reality star was one of the millions who became obsessed with the hit Netflix series after its release on Christmas Day.
So much so that one of the show’s star Nicola Coughlan – who plays the one and only Penelope Featherington – thought it was only right that Kim was made aware of the fact she was a source of inspiration for the show.
The Derry Girl star tweeted: ‘As the world’s number one @bridgerton Stan does @KimKardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings? Because I feel like she should know this.’
The power of Twitter meant that the tweet landed in Kim’s group chat within minutes, and her reaction was everything.
The KKW beauty founder quoted the tweet and wrote: ‘WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat!’
In true Kim K style, she immediately tried to get involved with the fashion as she asked: ”Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!!’
Do we sense a potential Kim Kardashian cameo in season two?
Netflix seems to think so as their official Twitter account replied: ‘Kim Featherington does have a nice ring to it — I’ll see what I can do!’
