BTS star V released a surprise clip of a soothing unreleased song, and fans are calling for more music from the star.

Totally without warning or fanfare, on Tuesday a tweet shared from the group’s Twitter account read ‘sleep’ with some Zs thrown in at the end.

The peaceful song includes the lyrics: ‘Can I go to bed and sleep tonight? May I lay my body on you now?’

The singer did not show his face in the clip but ARMY were more than happy just to hear his voice.

And of course there was plenty of demand for what fans have dubbed ‘KTH 1’ in reference to Kim Taehyung (V’s real name)’s first solo album or mixtape.

BTS’ trio of rappers, RM, Suga and J-Hope, have all released solo mixtapes and albums, with Suga dropping Daechwita (as Agust D) last year.

The South Korean group have gone unnervingly quiet recently, other than their Run BTS! online series, meaning they can only be cooking up something major.

Their last comeback was English-language single Dynamite, which not only earned them a Grammy nomination, but broke all kinds of records.

It received the most simultaneous views for a music video on YouTube and set the record for the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours following its release.

Dynamite also holds the record for the highest number of YouTube viewers for a video premiere, with the video clocking up a huge three to four million live concurrent viewers.

Despite the pandemic still keeping them from going on tour, the septet have been staying connected to their fans with online concerts.

Their 2021 Bang Bang Con took place on April 18 and drew in 2.7 million live viewers.

The mammoth 8-hour event was streamed worldwide on their official YouTube channel, and inclded footage from past concerts held by BTS in various cities.
