Dancing With The Stars pro-dancer Cheryl Burke apologized to her former partner Ian Ziering for the negative comments she made about him.

Over a decade since their danced together in 2007, the professional dancer shared her regret about a comment she made in 2016 about their partnership on the ABC dancing competition show.

During a conversation about narcissists on the Pretty Messed Up podcast with AJ McLean and Rene Elizondo Jr., she explained: ‘The one thing I truly regret and want to make amends with is Ian Ziering.

‘I was completely out of line a few years ago, and I did a podcast where they were asking me who my favorite partner was and who did I hate the most.’

She continued: ‘And I answered Ian Ziering, and I said something along the lines of ‘I’d rather slit my wrists than dance with Ian Ziering again.’

Cheryl was partnered up with the Beverly Hills, 90210 star for the fourth season of the show.

The pair earned high scores throughout the competition before they ultimately came in fourth place.

Cheryl made her ‘nasty’ comments as a guest on the Allegedly podcast, where she shared her displeasure of working with Ian.

At the time, Cheryl recalled ‘crying to executives’ while asking if the pair could be prematurely eliminated from DWTS.

Dancing with the Stars airs on ABC in the US.
