‘I Did Have Something in My Gloves’ – Tyson Fury Responds to Deontay Wilder’s Claims
A year ago, Deontay Wilder succumbed to a dreadful loss to Tyson Fury. The duo engaged in a momentous tussle and ‘The Gypsy King’ dethroned the Alabama native from his WBC heavyweight throne.
Wilder gave several reasons for his loss. He even accused Fury of putting something under his gloves prior to the fight.
All of his statements reached the undefeated heavyweight champ, and he issued a fiery statement on the same.
Speaking to Behind The Gloves, he said, “It’s absolutely true. I did have something in my gloves- two destroyers, these are what you call skull crushers, ask Deontay Wilder, he can testify to that,”

The rematch between Wilder and Fury was discussed ever since their first contest ended in a tragic draw.
Fans were desperate to see the duo take up ring space and settle on a true winner. That said, the pair collided with each other, wherein ‘The Gypsy King’ came out right on top.
He showcased sheer brilliance and didn’t let Wilder win a single second of the fight. Moreover, Fury only kept moving forward with his shots and was the abrupt oppressor in this clash. He stuck to his game-plan throughout the fight and floored ‘The Bronze Bomber’ multiple times in this contest.
As a result, Fury’s skillsets were too much to handle for Wilder and consequently, he ended on the losing vertical.

Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury – will a trilogy ever take place between them?
Ever since that loss, the former WBC heavyweight champ, Deontay Wilder, didn’t compete in the sport again. In fact, he asked for a trilogy against the Brit, thus wanting to settle his scores once for all.
However, Tyson Fury has moved ahead to fight for the undisputed heavyweight title now, and he doesn’t seem to take anyone else in the line prior to that.
That said, Wilder’s hopes of fighting Fury once again seem to be in jeopardy. He will unquestionably have to wait for the WBC champ to fight for all the heavyweight titles on the line.
Once Fury’s done fighting for the same, his probabilities of fighting Wilder next will be absolutely sky high.
