Among Us Does an Epic Five Nights at Freddy’s Crossover with Mods
The recent Among Us mods have been all the rage right now. Streamers have been endlessly streaming about these insane mods that seem to be the only thing keeping the game alive, ironically. Among Us reached the apex of its popularity last year during the pandemic situation.
One of the major reasons for this is the fact that the game emulates the feeling of enjoying fun party games with friends, something that became kind of impossible back then. However, as the situations across the world improved, the popularity of this minimalist multiplayer title died a slow death.
On the other hand, the game has managed to stay popular in the streaming circuit even now. This is due to the interesting mods that the community comes up with every now and then. Streamers have been streaming about these mods and the community seems to be thoroughly enjoying them.

Usually, these mods grant extreme powers to the role of the impostor or add a new role in the game altogether. Recently, the community came up with a Five Nights at Freddy’s mod, and it is absolutely crazy. The popular streamer and YouTuber Ssundee demonstrated this mod on one of his recent videos.
Among us gets what might be the scariest mod as of now
Five Nights at Freddy’s is perhaps one of the most iconic horror titles ever made. The Among Us version attempts to bring that scare to the game because let’s face it: a random friend stabbing you in the dark was not scary enough. Now, like many other mods, this one has added its own version of the impostor role in the game.
The FNAF version of the impostor, Freddy, has the ability to literally induce jumpscares. Freddy can also teleport around the map. If that was not enough, Freddy also has the ability to lead a herd of animatronics on command. Good Luck escaping that one. But wait, there’s more!
In addition to all these abilities, Freddy can literally devour crewmates. And, when he is done with it, he can even defecate the crewmate out. Yes, it is disgusting. But that is the point!
However, the abundance of mods does point out that the community is done with the original title. The popularity of the gameplay itself has been downhill since the end of last year. Will the popularity of Among Us resurrect? It remains to be seen.
