Rapper Iggy Azalea and former The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown have signed up for The Celebrity Dating Game.

The new take on the classic ABC dating show will show what went down when the stars featured as contestants looking for love in the new series hosted by actress Zooey Deschanel and musician Michael Bolton.

Actor Taye Diggs has also been revealed as part of the first batch of contestants who took part in the fun reality show.

Describing the program, ABC said: ‘The Celebrity Dating Game offers a wry wink at modern dating with a star-studded roster of celebrity singles from television, music, comedy, reality TV and feature film in their pursuit to find love.’

The network teased that the series offers ‘the same iconic feel as the original classic dating show’.

Indeed, each episode will see two celebrities each picking a suitor – based on their responses to various questions – from a hidden panel of three potential partners.

However, the hopeful romantics don’t know the identity of the celebrity and they’ll have to guess through clues given as ‘parody song performances’ by Michael.

Sounds like the How Am I Supposed to Live Without You singer will be bringing back the parody version of himself that SNL fans couldn’t get enough of thanks to the Lonely Island’s Emmy-nominated video, Captain Jack Sparrow.

The original Dating Game ran on from 1965 to 1973, and has since inspired several updates in the US and internationally, including the UK’s Blind Date – which has been hosted by Cilla Black and Paul O’Grady.

The series was filmed in Los Angeles and premieres June 14 on ABC.
