Natalie Decker Returns to NASCAR Racing at Talladega: When and Where to Watch the Race?
This weekend, the NASCAR Xfinity Series paddock visits the Talladega Superspeedway. The race is expected to kick off on Saturday at 4:00PM ET. It is also worth noting that the race will air on Fox Sports in USA, TSN 3 and TSN 5 in Canada. In addition to that, Natalie Decker will make her first start with Our Motorsports. This will be the first of four scheduled starts for the team.
Decker does have some Xfinity experience under her belt when she debuted at the Daytona road course. At the time, she drove for the #23 RSS Racing in partnership with Reaume Brothers Racing team. With RSS Racing, she had a five-race contract, but Our Motorsports bought the #23 car.
In other words, she will compete in the remaining four races under the Our Motorsports banner. In partnership with Red Street Records, Natalie Decker will also race at Nashville, Road America and Martinsville.
What did Natalie Decker say about the opportunity to race again
“I’m so ready to be back in the 23 car,” Decker said. “I love Talladega, and I’m so happy it’s on my schedule this year. I will be with a new team, Our Motorsports, so there will be some challenges because this will be our first race together. I’m so thankful for Red Street Records. It’s been so much fun working with them this year and we’re all so excited to get to Talladega.”
The team also admitted that they are excited to link up with her again. Our Motorsports General Manager Joe Williams acknowledged that they have a great crop of drivers. This is why Williams is thrilled that Natalie Decker and Red Street Records are a part of their team. Admittedly, her debut race did not go to plan, because she got involved in a wreck and crashed out.
Now, Decker will be eager for redemption and will hope to bag her first Xfinity race finish. As the saying goes, to finish first, first you have to finish.
