“A Worthwhile Investment”: Naomi Osaka Follows the Path of Novak Djokovic, Stefanos Tsitsipas to Get Good Results
World No. 2 Naomi Osaka is yet to begin her clay-court season. However, the Japanese star is training quite hard on green clay and will hope to perform well on that surface this time. She didn’t do well at the Miami Open 2021 and will want to turn the tables around in the clay-court season.
In a recent interview, Naomi Osaka revealed the one activity on her daily schedule with which she tries to invest in herself. Interestingly, Osaka came up with a pretty surprising response.
“Maybe it’s not so unique these days but I always find some time to meditate and check in with myself. It feels like a worthwhile investment of time and then some!” said Osaka.
The 4-time Grand Slam winner disclosed that she often likes to meditate and check in with herself. Even though she feels that it is no longer a unique concept these days, she feels that it is a great investment of time for her.

Naomi Osaka is not alone when it comes to meditation
Fans have long known that World No. 1 Novak Djokovic often meditates to increase his concentration. It has really helped the Serbian legend to focus better and, in a way, has definitely helped him to improve his gameplay.
Recently, World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas also came forward and admitted that he has started meditating. In an interview, he mentioned that it was his sports psychologist, Kostas Pergantis, who helps him with breathing exercises and meditation.
Clearly, the result is visible as the Greek player recently won the Monte Carlo Masters 2021. On the other hand, Djokovic is already the No. 1 player and has won 18 Grand Slams in his career so far.
Tsitsipas is currently playing at the Barcelona Open 2021. He’ll be up against Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-finals today. Will he be able to win back-to-back titles on clay by conquering Barcelona this year?
