Bronny James, Trae Young and Other Players React to Tragic Passing of Kentucky Wildcats’ Terrence Clarke

Just three months away from achieving his dream, Kentucky Wildcats star Terrence Clarke has sadly passed away. The 19-year-old was involved in a car crash earlier today in Los Angeles.

This news has shaken up fans across the world, who were excited to see Clarke’s career blossom. Many fans took to Twitter to react to this tragic passing and also send their prayers to him and his family. Sierra Canyon’s Bronny James and G-League prospect Jalen Green also posted about this news. Bronny was in disbelief, as he wrote “no bro” with a sad emoji on his Instagram story.

NBA players like Trae Young, Mo Bamba and Cassius Stanley also tweeted and spoke about this tragic incident.

One fan pointed out that Clarke’s last liked tweet was about his faith. The tweet reads, “I walk with God I’m always relaxed,” and everyone will be hoping he is definitely doing that right now in a much better place.

Clarke’s teammate Brandon Boston Jr was also involved in the accident. However, his former coach, Sierra Canyon basketball assistant, confirmed Boston is okay now. But fans will be praying for him too, as he hopefully makes his recovery. He will also need time to recover mentally after watching his close friend pass away right in front of him.

Terrence Clarke had just taken his first steps towards his NBA dream

Clarke arrived in Kentucky as a promising player, being the 10th best prospect in the country. But sadly, he had a lot of injury trouble throughout his rookie season, so he only played eight games. He didn’t get enough time to showcase his talent, but there were glimpses of what he could achieve and how much potential he had. He declared for the NBA Draft back in March, after being willing to bet on himself.

Just one day ago, Clarke signed with Klutch Sports to boost his draft profile. This was his first step towards reaching his goals, which is playing in the NBA. While his projection had dropped due to his injuries, he was easily going to be a first round pick. But unfortunately, these dreams have now been cut short.

Prayers up for Clarke and his family, and also for Boston and his family.
