Chris Jericho and CM Punk React to WWE’s Disrespectful Gesture to Legend Mickie James
The Wrestling World erupted today following a huge tweet by former WWE Superstar Mickie James, showing her personal belongings sent to her by WWE In what appeared to be a trash bag. The bag had her name on it and outraged by the way the company handled this, James took to Twitter to call Vince McMahon out.
As you can see in the picture below, James was sent a black trash bag with all the belongings from her locker in it. This, understandably, was a very disrespectful moment for one of the greatest female Superstars the business and ever seen and quite frankly, a disgrace to any human being.
Dear @VinceMcMahon Im not sure if you’re aware, I did receive my @WWE care package today. Thank you. #AlwaysBlessedandGrateful #WomensWrestlingMatters pic.twitter.com/PyDC7ZC9lG

For the amount of work put in by her in the company, she did not at all deserve this sort of treatment, even though she is no longer a WWE Superstar. The fanbase backed her in this entire situation and a lot of other Superstars acknowledged the fact that it was more than unprofessional of WWE to that her this way.
Former WWE Champion CM Punk and AEW Superstar Chris Jericho also had their piece to say and reacted jokingly to the tweet.

Mickie James received an apology from Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
Following this entire debacle, WWE Chief Branding Officer Stephanie McMahon immediately apologized to Mickie for this insulting moment and confirmed that the person responsible for the action had been fired.
.@MickieJames I am embarrassed you or anyone else would be treated this way. I apologize personally and on behalf of @WWE. The person responsible is no longer with our company. https://t.co/nvN4WsKC0I

WWE COO Triple H also confirmed that the person responsible for this attitude towards released talents was fired from the company, but the was not the end of it at all.
Upon learning of the disrespectful treatment some of our recently released talent received on behalf of the company, we took immediate action. The person responsible for this inconsiderate action has been fired and is no longer with @WWE.

Over the past few hours, a lot of former WWE Superstars, released from contract or otherwise, have spoken up about the treatment they have received following their exit.
Fightful Select reports that the ‘person responsible’ is Mark Carrano. There are also report of a huge in-house clearance of WWE personnel responsible following this uproar. Former WWE Superstars Gail Kim, Maria Kanellis, and Darren Young also exposed Carrano’s rash behavior with them following their releases.
Last year I got one too. https://t.co/LraFKUWWGo

In fact, Kanellis also revealed that she had got a similar trash bag after her release, indicating that this sort of behavior has been going on for a while. Ryback, who often spoke about Carrano and his attitude in his talks, is probably smiling as the story progresses.
We will soon find updates on the rest of the names responsible for this and if WWE plans on firing more of the personnel involved.
