“Yeah, it was tough to play him especially on clay where it’s a little bit slower with him being so fast. It’s tough to make points and be aggressive all the time just because he gets so many balls back,” told Kecmanovic in an interview with EssentiallySports.com.

The Serbian player highlighted that the World No.1 player was extremely fast on the court. He also stated that it was tough to play aggressive tennis against him as he has a fabulous return.

“I had a few chances and I just wished that I could have used some of them. Then maybe it could have been a little bit different. But just to try to play a lot better in some of those important points,” added the 21-year-old Serbian.

Clearly, Kecmanovic emphasized that he failed to deliver when it mattered the most. Although he is out of the tournament now, the Serbian has got some great gameplay and can surely earn a huge name in tennis one day.

On the other hand, Novak Djokovic is in the semis of the Serbian Open 2021 now. He’ll either face his Australian Open 2021 semi-final opponent Aslan Karatsev or Gianluca Mager there. Will Djokovic be able to win the Serbian Open 2021 after facing an early exit at the Monte Carlo Masters 2021?
