Katie Price’s son Harvey has taken up running and appears to be loving it, as his doting mum shared a sweet snap of him.

The 18-year-old currently attends a residential college, but has been updating Katie on what he’s getting up to.

My Crazy Life star Katie, who recently got engaged, shared a snap of Harvey surrounded by grass and a playground.

Harvey wrote: ‘Hi Mummy I did some a lot of running before richley house, this Afternoon because I feel very happy and healthy doing some running [sic].

‘I’ll Sure see you soon Mummy love from Harvey’.

‘Harvey sent me this from residential today ❤️❤️,’ Katie wrote.

Fans are thrilled to see him doing so well, with one commenting: ‘He is such a wonderful young man ❤️’.

‘He is the most sweetest boy ❤️’, another added, while one more said: ‘Oh bless him ❤️’.

Harvey was born with a series of complex conditions, including Prader-Willi syndrome and septo-optic dysplasia, as well as autism and ADHD.

Prader-Willi syndrome is a rare genetic condition that causes a wide range of physical symptoms, learning difficulties and behavioural problems.

Septo-optic dysplasia is a disorder of early brain development. It can cause blindness and growth hormone deficiency.

Earlier this year, Katie and Harvey, who recently received the first dose of his coronavirus vaccine, starred in a widely-praised BBC documentary, Harvey and Me, which saw the pair of them searching for a suitable residential college for him.

The programme gave an insight into the highs and lows of their day-to-day lives together, with many viewers praising the 42-year-old for being an incredible mum.

After it aired, the former glamour model took to social media to thank fans, writing: ‘I wanted to say thank you so much to @bbcone @Minnow_Films and the general public for all your support in the lead up to #HarveyandMe and the incredible feedback tonight.

‘This really has been such an amazing journey for Harvey and myself, and I want to continue the conversation surrounding the difficulties that parents of children with complex needs face, and help parents going through a similar situation.’
