Fears for baby whale washed up on UK beach as rescue teams battle to save her

RESCUE teams are battling to save a baby whale stranded on a UK beach.

The little minke whale – thought to be less than one year old – was spotted at 9am this morning at the waters edge on a beach in Dalgety Bay, Fife.

The beach has been cordoned off to the public

The coastguard, Scottish SPCA and a team of experts from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue were called to the coastal spot to help save the whale.

The beach has been cordoned off to the public as rescue teams desperately battles to save the animal.
