Katie Price to film short documentary on plastic surgery to share ‘every little detail’ of her experiences
Katie Price is set to film a short documentary on plastic surgery, detailing her own experiences with it and the effect it has on self-image.
The former glamour model, 42, who has been under the knife several times over the years for multiple boob jobs as well as other procedures, will be open about the surgeries that went right as well as those that didn’t.
The documentary, which will feature on Steph’s Packed Lunch, has reportedly already been filmed and is ready to air next week.
A source told The Sun: ‘Katie is known for having cosmetic surgery and she’ll be an open book for the documentary.
‘She is keen to speak out on every little detail, including the ops that went wrong, and the ones that she thought were successful.’
Katie will be speaking to surgeons as well as other people who have gone under the knife in order to see the effect it has on body image, as well as how much social media can worsen people’s self confidence.
The source added: ‘Katie will also reflect on why she chose to get surgery in the first place – way back in the ’90s!
‘She filmed the scenes this week and the doc will air during Steph’s Packed Lunch next week.’
It’s not Katie’s first foray into documentary making as she recently shared her full-length film about her son, Harvey & Me, showing the challenges the pair have had to overcome to help Harvey move into a residential college now he is 18.
She also shot a short film on teen mental health with her 13-year-old daughter Princess for Steph’s Packed Lunch recently.
Katie has been open about her surgery over the years, having had her first breast enlargement in 1998 at the start of her glamour modelling career.
She has since had 12 boob jobs, including a removal in 2015, as well as liposuction, a face lift and a Brazilian bum lift in Turkey.
