On the latest segment of Get Up, host Mike Greenberg was joined by the reputed Michael Irvin. The latter was asked to give his preferred pick as the top wide receiver from the current crop of players.

He replied, “I think this year, the wide receiver class gives you different flavors. If you’re asking me who’s the best I’m going to pull out probably Ja’Marr chase but remember this, we’re in a different time. People are drafted for specific reasons….De’Vonta Smith reminds me a lot of a young Deshaun Jackson….you know we look for track guys that can play football.”

“These guys are football players that have track speed and with the game being what it is now, Greenie, where you’re throwing a lot of balls behind the line of scrimmage and then asking the guy to use that skill set like Tyreek Hill does. But that guy right there brings you a lot of value,” Irvin said on the show.
