‘My A–‘: Lakers’ Dennis Schroder Sends a Provoking Message to Brooklyn Nets Camp
The Lakers now have just 13 more games left for them to stretch and assume that fourth position in the conference. It is now too ambitious to imagine that they’ll be able to break into the top three because the gap is mammoth. Still, there’s no doubting they’re the favorites to win the WC.
With Anthony Davis back and LeBron James almost approaching his return, the Lake Show will resume full potential. But still, even in the best-case scenario, do they have in them what it’ll take to beat the Brooklyn Nets in the potential final?
Dennis Schroder sent out a warning to Brooklyn Nets camp
The 27-YO Menace is currently the Lakers’ third-best player after the star duo. The former OKC player is not having his career-best season, but he’s keeping up well with his defensive abilities. Also, more importantly, he has projected confidence in the absence of the dynamic duo that will only improve his performance once they’re back.
In a recent interview, the star shooting guard sent out a clear message towards all those discounting them. He assuringly exclaimed, “My boy said in his chat, Nets in four. I told him, Nets in four, my a–. That’s what it is.”
Now, one would imagine, did Dennis Schroder signal towards the Nets in seven or does he really believe the Lakers can win? Well, as of now, the two teams are 1-1 against each other in the regular season and no one can predict a clear winner between them.

Most people can agree, the NBA Finals 2020 were the most one-sided finals in a long time. So the fans now want a real battle with both the rosters carrying a 50-50 shot at the championship. If the Lakers and the Nets beat the odds to reach the finals, it will be worth every penny to drop every plan and buy a bundle load of popcorn.
Kevin Durant will have an opportunity to go 3-1 against LeBron James in the finals. The Akron Hammer will have his chance to prove that he can again defeat a super team (just like the 2016 finals). Kyrie Irving will get his shot at matching up against his former teammate and making a statement. Last but not least, James Harden and Anthony Davis will fight for their respective legacies in the league.
So it is going to be mouth-watering and it will be least likely to find the winner in four/five games.
