Steam Golden Week Sale Goes Live Next Week

Mark your calendars, folks! One of the biggest video game discount events is right around the corner. The Steam Database website, or SteamDB, has revealed the events roadmap for this year. According to it, this year’s Golden Week Sale is about to go live on the platform in exactly four days! However, there has not been an official announcement from Valve regarding this.

Steam is perhaps the biggest platform for games on PC. A lot of players wait eagerly for these sales on this platform in order to procure premium titles at a discounted cost. According to SteamDB, players will get to experience three major Steam Sales until July.

Other than the Golden Week Sale, players will get to witness the Open World Sale and the Steam Next Fest. The latter is a pretty exciting event and is a revamp of the Game Festival. The official description says:

“We’ve renamed the Steam Game Festival to more directly communicate its focus: Announcing Steam Next Fest, a multi-day celebration of upcoming games. Explore and play hundreds of game demos, watch developer livestreams, and chat with the teams about their games in progress, coming soon to Steam. Sign up here to receive a reminder when Steam Next Fest begins on June 16th. We can’t wait to share what’s headed to Steam in the next event.”

Join the upcoming Steam Golden Week Sale and celebrate exciting titles from Japan

Last year’s Golden Week Sale had some of the most iconic contemporary titles. The lineup included the likes of Dark Souls 3, Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, Final Fantasy XV, Tekken 7, Resident Evil 3, and Devil May Cry 5, among many others. Last year, the sale spanned from the 30th of April to the 6th of May.

However, there is not any information available regarding the lineup of this year’s Golden Week. As of now, all we know are the tentative dates of the sale. Until Valve releases an official announcement, this is all we have to go on.

This year’s Golden Week Sale will span from the 16th to the 22nd of June.
