This weekend’s Line of Duty episode features longest interrogation scene yet
Someone is about to get an absolute grilling on this week’s episode of Line of Duty, with Sunday’s show set to feature the longest interrogation scene yet.
Show creator Jed Mercurio has outdone himself in the upcoming instalment by creating an interview sequence that lasts a whopping 29 minutes and 22 seconds.
It’s the most in-depth interview yet, and viewers can guarantee an officer at least one rank senior will have their work cut out during the extended scene.
A source told Mirror Online: ‘Line Of Duty fans are used to AC-12 being thorough in their interviews in their search for bent coppers, but this scene is incredible and you can’t look away for a moment.
‘Just when you think it could end there are more questions and more answers and more revelation.’
They added: ‘Lots of the secrets are going to come out and there are more pieces of the puzzle in place.’
Mother of God, we can’t wait.
There’s plenty more for fans to look out for too, with the preview episode ending on the mother of all cliffhangers.
Millions of fans – including the stars of Gogglebox – couldn’t handle the suspense as they watched Line of Duty’s Ryan Pilkington (Gregory Piper) and Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) turn their guns on each other.
Episode five saw Kate agree to meet Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) in a secluded car park. While she alerted AC-12’s Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) about her location, viewers were left in the dark after hearing two gunshots ring out at the end of the episode.
Line of Duty continues on Sunday at 9pm on Sunday.
