Preview | New York Knicks

Accustomed to losing streaks in the past few seasons, the Knicks have embarked on an eight-game winning run. It is because they have been potent on the offensive end of the floor, adding it to their defensive toughness.

Julius Randle, in particular, has upped his game. In the last 10 games, he is averaging 23.9 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game. In their 137-127 overtime win over the Hawks a fortnight ago, he scored 40 points. And thankfully for them, he is available to play.

As for their injury concerns, only center Mitchell Robinson is definitely ruled out with an ankle injury. On the other hand, Alec Burks remains questionable after entering the health and safety protocols bubble a few days ago.

Starting 5 for New York Knicks

Guard – Elfrid Payton

Guard – Julius Randle

Center – Nerlens Noel

Preview | Toronto Raptors

The Raptors are on a mini-run themselves, having won their past four games, including their 114-103 win over the Nets a couple of days ago. But the major concern for them is the languid form of Pascal Siakam, who is averaging 16.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game at a horrible 33.8% shooting in the last 10 games.

In the injury department, they are slightly worse off than the Knicks. Rodney Hood, Paul Watson, and Chris Boucher may not take part because of their respective knee ailments. Jalen Harris also remains questionable because of a hip problem.

Predictions | Knicks vs Raptors

The last time these two Atlantic Division rivals faced off on April 11, the Knicks prevailed 102-96. Seeing their positive play and form, it is a good chance that they will continue to build on their streak. While the Raptors need to come out firing if they wish to come even close to avenging their previous defeat.
