Gordon Ramsay is reportedly being lined up for a new series that’s ‘The Apprentice for chefs’ – and it’s got a perfect title for the swear-word loving cook.

FFS, aka Future Food Stars, is said to be heading into production this summer, with 12 hopefuls going head-to-head.

The winner will receive a life-changing investment in their cooking, just like Lord Alan Sugar’s business focused series, The Apprentice.

‘It was meant to get under way last year but was cancelled due to the pandemic,’ a source told The Sun

‘Now the hospitality industry is getting back on its feet after taking such a battering, there’s a real sense of hope and opportunity out there, which is what this prime-time show is all about.’

The new series, which is yet to be officially announced by the BBC, will show Gordon returning to his roots after several new projects.

This includes a loved ITV travel series with Fred Sirieix and Gino D’ACampo, and a BBC gameshow, Bank Balance.

Bank Balance, which aired earlier this year, didn’t start off on the strongest foot, and dropped from 2.7million viewers to 1.6million after the first episode.

It’s not been confirmed yet if the BBC are bringing the show back for another round.
