Line Of Duty series 6: A complete timeline of ‘H’ so far
Line Of Duty’s ‘H’ remains the show’s biggest mystery, with AC-12 still yet to uncover the corrupt senior ranking officer.
DCI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure), DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston), and Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar) have been busy trying to weed out the elusive character for years now, with fans also sharing theories on who or what it could be.
It’s known that ‘H’ is not one, but four corrupt officers and the code name refers to a group of senior ranking corrupt officers within the Central Police.
So far, three officers have been exposed – DI Matthew Cottan (Craig Parkinson), ACC Derek Hilton (Paul Higgins) and Senior Legal Counsel Gill Biggeloe (Polly Walker).
The fourth person, however, still remains under wraps.

The timeline of ‘H’ in Line Of Duty
‘H’ first came into the fold in the series 3 finale when bent copper Dot recorded his dying declaration.
Kate asked Dot to name the most senior corrupt officer in the OCG, however, he was only capable of blinking and indicated the letter ‘H’ when she read through the alphabet.
While trying to bring DCI Roz Huntley (Thandie Newton) to justice for the murder of Tim Ifield (Jason Watkins), AC-12 also continued their hunt for ‘H’ – and came to terms with the news that Dot was double-crossing them all.
Assistant Chief Constable Derek Hilton was thought to be ‘H’ when it was learnt he was complying with powerful criminals, but he was killed off in the final episode.
Tracking ‘H’ down proved to be a harder task, and the season ended with all fingers pointing to Ted Hastings.
Ted found himself accused of being ‘H’ with a full-blown investigation, led by the formidable Patricia Carmichael (Anna Maxwell Martin).
Luckily, Steve and Kate worked tirelessly to clear all allegations against him.
After closer inspection of Dot’s dying declaration, it’s revealed that he also tapped his finger four times, which led AC-12 to believe there are four members that make up an ‘H’ collective.
Elsewhere, Gill is exposed to having links with the OCG and is arrested before being provided with a new identity in exchange for information.
Theories are flying all over the shop about who ‘H’ could be.
Anna Maxwell Martin’s character Patricia, has been mentioned as a possible ‘H’ as well as Amy De Bhrún’s character Stephanie Corbett.
For now, ‘H’ remains under wraps.
