Outriders, Valheim, and NieR Replicant Dominate Steam Charts This Week
Another week comes to an end, and Steam charts see significant shuffling in top games in terms of sales revenue. Games such as It Takes Two, Sea of Thieves, and Outriders dominated the last week’s chart. Other top 10 games included Valheim, Forza Horizon 4, The Forest, and a few others. However, while some of these games still remain in the top 10, they saw a significant drop in their ranks.
NieR Replicant, both in terms of pre-orders and the standard edition, makes a debut on the list. Interestingly, the debut entrant shot straight to first place due to its successful pre-orders. With all the new entries in the list, games like Valheim and Outriders see a significant drop in the list.
While Valheim fell from sixth place to the 8th, Outriders suffered a much steeper fall. The new looter-shooter game from People Can Fly dropped right to the bottom of the top 10 from the 5th place.
Games that beat Outriders to rank better in this week’s Steam sales
Apart from NieR Replicant, a few more games returned to the top 10 this week, pushing Outriders further down the list. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive recently came out with the ‘Operation Broken Fang’ DLC that helped the game make a comeback to the charts at #6.

Two more games entered the list this week due to ongoing promotions. Battlefield 5 and Titanfall 2 grab the fourth and the fifth spot, respectively. Interestingly, The Forest jumped a spot as compared to the last week and featured at #7 on the April 25 list.
With NieR Replicant taking the top spot, It Takes Two shifted to second place. The action-adventure platformer title published under the EA originals has made quite an impact being a fan-favorite in the last few weeks.
NieR Replicant: The game that topped Steam charts
Labeled as one the best remasters in contemporary times, NieR Replicant is based on the 2010 game from Square Enix. The latest version of this action RPG allows players to experience the story from the perspective of the protagonist’s brother instead of her father like it was in the original version.
While the original version was available only for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, its latest PC release has made it a much-desired title to get. Naturally, with all the hype around NieR Replicant, it only makes sense that the sales for the title have pushed it to top Steam for at least a couple more weeks.
