‘Rim is About the Size of Ocean’: Warriors’ Draymond Green Reacts to Steph Curry’s Scoring Barrage

The Golden State Warriors have won two back-to-back games and are still unmoved in the Western Conference. Their tenth spot has fans worried that the postseason might slip away from them once again. However, they may be struggling to find some consistency as a team, but their star player Steph Curry is having one of the best runs of his career and his teammate Draymond Green can’t help but appreciate it.

Draymond Green reacts to Curry’s incredible run

One of the greatest shooters of all time, Steph Curry is on a hot scoring run this season. It isn’t easy to explain how brilliantly he is playing without it seeming exaggerated but the stats can do the talking. In just the month of April, Curry is averaging 38.1 points, a feat only once achieved by James Harden and Kobe Bryant.

However, the buckets are just a part of it. It is also his efficiency that is wreaking havoc on the court which has him making and breaking records night in and night out. This is a finger on all those haters’ lips who accused Curry of not doing anything without Klay Thompson.

Even in their latest matchup against the Sacramento Kings, Curry finished the night with a whopping 37-point performance. The two teams were in a tug of war while grabbing leads but eventually, the Warriors escaped with a 117-113 victory.

After the match, Draymond commented on Curry’s terrific month and said, “Incredible, man. The rim is about the size of an ocean, literally. A couple of those ones he hit tonight, it’s incredible.”

Steph Curry on the MVP list

The Dubs superstar was on a scoring barrage and although it has cooled down a little, it has helped him come further in the MVP race. His stellar performances are not only their best shot at making it to the playoffs but could also help grab his third Kia MVP award.

He has landed the fifth spot, while Nikola Jokic continues to have a firm grip on the first position. As the final month of the regular season inches closer, will Curry climb the ladder further or will he succumb to the pressure and miss out on the playoffs and the MVP, again?
