Top 10 most supported clubs on social media revealed with Man Utd third and Chelsea boasting more fans than Arsenal
FIVE Premier League clubs are included in the top ten teams that boast the biggest social media following in world football.
Nine of the side’s also feature in the top ten most valuable clubs, where Barcelona pipped their Spanish rivals Real Madrid to first spot.
And once again it is the two LaLiga giants that have the most followers in figures obtained by Goal.
The news outlet calculated the data by combining the club’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok followers.
And Real and Barca are in a league of their own with no other side coming close to the pair.
Los Blancos boast over a whopping 252 million followers across the major platforms, with the Blaugrana having just under two million fewer.
Manchester United are third on the list with over 142 million followers – over 100 million less than Ronald Koeman’s men.
Serie A champions Juventus follow the Red Devils, with the Old Lady the only Italian side to feature in the list.
They have over 104 million followers, with their online presence benefiting from Cristiano Ronaldo being in the squad.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner alone has a staggering 278 million followers on Instagram.

Chelsea complete the top five with over 93 million, and their fanbase online could grow in the coming months should they win their second Champions League title.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are in sixth spot as they have just 700,000 fewer fans than the West London outfit.
Paris Saint-Germain are the only French club to be included, and they sit in seventh (91 million).
Germany are represented through Bayern Munich, with the Bavarian’s having over 88 million followers.
Manchester City sit in ninth spot ahead of Arsenal, with just 100,000 followers separating the two clubs.
