Alongside a sweet photo of Azaylia beaming up at a smiling Safiyya, the aesthetic practitioner wrote: ‘I would like to take a moment out of my day to thank each and everyone of you for your heart felt messages, amazing videos that you have created for us, poems, candles that have been lit, balloons, music, flowers etc [sic].’
She then revealed: ‘It’s so beautiful Everyday is getting harder but Azaylia taught me strength, and courage which she held 100% now I need to make her proud and do the same.
‘I no your looking down on me.
‘A special Thankyou to beautiful Azaylia for teaching all of us the true meaning of life I’m honoured to be your mummy.’

Safiyya had earlier announced Azaylia’s death with a photo of her cradling the tot and the caption: ‘You are my Angel my heartbeat my soul, RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.’
In his own tribute to Azaylia, Ashley earlier said that his ‘heart is shattered’, adding: ‘You gave my life purpose, my face a smile, filled my heart with love and my soul with pride.
‘I can’t put into words my sadness and pain, there aren’t words to describe it. I love you with every ounce of my body and I miss you so much already.’
He later said: ‘Your name will live, your legacy will be remembered and I will seek peace in living as your vessel to continue inspiring, giving strength, spreading joy and saving lives in your name, with your spirit, as your father until we meet again.
‘You saved my life, you really did. With my second chance, I make a promise to you that I will make yours live on in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.’
The heartfelt post concluded: ‘I am blessed, I am honoured and I am privileged to be your father. I would go through all of the pain again and again. Because what you gave me in those 8 months will live with me for eternity.’
Azaylia’s parents fought tirelessly to save her and raised over £1million towards specialist treatment in Singapore. However, doctors said after further tests that her disease was too rare and aggressive for them to treat leaving them with no more options.
